About the event

The Grand Opening event celebrating our new forever home was an incredible demonstration of love, support, and community. We were truly moved – and overwhelmed – by the number of people who showed up to welcome us to Paso Robles. We loved sharing our mission and our vision with friends old and new, introducing everyone to our horses and

showing them off through the riding demonstrations. We had exciting items in both our live and silent auctions that helped raise funds for the horses. The food at the event was amazing. Cass Winery & Chef Charlie prepared a wonderful lunch for all our guests. Monte Mills & The lucky Horseshoe Band played throughout the event and got everyone up and

dancing. We had 3 fabulous wineries pouring wine and Firestone beer available as well. It was an amazing day had by all.

Through generous donations during the live auction, we were able to raise 1/3 of the funds we need for a new tractor. While our existing tractor does still run, she is old and very worn out. She has given us over 20 years of good service but now her maintenance costs are becoming quite expensive to keep her running. Our hope is to raise the remaining funds to buy a new tractor by the end of the year, so we can start off the new year with a new tractor to help maintain the ranch and daily upkeep. If you are interested in helping us finish raising the remaining funds for our tractor, please mark the box on our remit for tractor donation. All of this would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. A huge thank you to Cass winery, Demeter Family Cellars, Coast Hills Credit Union, Bank of the Sierra, Berkshire Hathaway, Central Coast Trailers, Asuncion Valley Farms, Firestone Walker, 13 Stars Media,

KJug and the William & Florence Wheeler Foundation.
