Fleur is a gorgeous Friesian mare. Fleur was dumped at an auction by her previous owners and her history before Redwings rescued her is unknown. When Fleur arrived and was unloaded off the transport she was so scared that we couldn't even get the halter off of her. The halter was put on so tight that it caused rubs and hair loss on her nose and poll and over time could have caused open sores on her head. For the first few weeks Fleur was nervous and didn't want to interact with people, but a few weeks of love and attention brought Fleur out of her shell and now she is super friendly and outgoing. Due to Fleur's age and the fact that she has lordosis (sway back) she is only being offered as a companion horse.
