Casanova was imported from Europe as a young show jumping prospect. Casanova was a successful showjumper for many years before losing vision in his right eye after sustaining an injury. After his eye injury Casanova was sold to a woman in central California where he lived happily for many years. Unfortunately, his owner became sick and was unable to care for Casanova correctly, causing Casanova to quickly decline. He was thin, suffering from white line disease in his feet, and was having reoccurring bouts of colic. Soon after Casanova's owner unexpectedly passed away, but thankfully the owner's son took over Casanova's care and reached out to Redwings. Redwings is happy to provide Casanova the retirement that he deserves.
