Educating the public about the plight of equines through rescue and sanctuary
Our newsletter, many of our promotions, our Board of Directors, our booth staff, this Web site—these productions and activities are all handled by dedicated Redwings volunteers who passionately believe in the mission of Redwings. People of virtually every skill can contribute to Redwings, as well as those wishing to learn new skills. Redwings cannot function without all the volunteers who have helped us throughout our history.
You can help groom our horses after taking a class on humane horse handling presented by the Redwings staff and board members. Our main ranch in Lockwood, California, always needs groomers, as does our small satellite ranch in Prunedale, California, that does not have ranch hands and therefore needs volunteers to handle all the horse care including feeding and grooming.
